Exposure Composition Assignment

For this homework we need to take 2 photos that has light scene and 2 photos that has dark scenes. We are working on exposure values and how to change them. After taking the photos we need to choose one from each category that we liked the most. In my photos, I started with exposure value of EV -2 for my first photo and EV +2 for my last photo. I choose the first photo as my dominantly dark in tone because there’s no windows and the walls are blocking the light which gives the picture a darker background. Also, the object in the picture has a dark colour which gives a darker tone. I choose my second photo as my dominantly light in tone because its right beside a glass wall which allows the light to come in and the object in the photo has a lighter colour than the first one.

Discovering "My" Type og Photography

 http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/field-test/on-instagram

The first time I saw this picture, I knew I need to post this on my blog, actually no, I have to! While I'm staring at this picture I just can't believe it’s real. This picture captivates me and I just can’t stop looking at it. I love seeing photos of nature and animals. By looking at them it just gives me a feeling on how wonderful the world. Looking at this kind of pictures makes me think that there is so much more out there than what we see every day, I know it’s a bit of a cliché but it’s true. Photography makes me discover things that I don’t know about or I haven’t seen. This is a trek mani stone and can be found in Mt. Everest basecamp. I found this picture in instigram and I just need to know where it is or if it’s real because I just can’t believe it’s real.
